About the role

The Business Intelligence (BI) Manager is at the forefront of our data strategy, leading our core reporting initiatives to ensure the creation and delivery of high-quality, accurate, and timely reports. This position requires coordinating the efforts of the BI team to design, implement, and maintain advanced BI solutions, such as dynamic dashboards and comprehensive reporting tools.

These tools are essential for supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. The role of the BI Manager is crucial in transforming data into valuable insights, fostering a data-driven culture, and driving operational excellence and business growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and leader, passionate about leveraging data to inform and shape the company’s decisions and strategies.

This will be your tasks

  • Develop and deliver BI reports and dashboards that consistently meet high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Coordinate the efforts of the BI team, from the initial design to the ongoing maintenance of BI solutions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to thoroughly understand their reporting needs and provide them with customized BI solutions.
  • Promote the adoption of best practices in BI and analytics, continually seeking opportunities to improve processes and tools.
  • Ensure the smooth and effective use of BI technologies such as SQL, DBT, Databricks, and Power BI, to maximize their potential.

Who you are

  • Demonstrated experience in leading BI initiatives and teams.
  • Mastery of a range of BI technologies, including but not limited to SQL, DBT, Databricks, and Power BI, acquired through years of hands-on experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a proven track record of extracting actionable insights from data-driven approaches.
  • Skilled in creating and maintaining BI reports and dashboards, with a history of refining and maintaining these crucial information assets.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management, characterized by the ability to understand the complexity of business requirements and seamlessly translate them into robust technical solutions.
  • An educational background anchored by a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, obtained from a prestigious institution in the Netherlands or abroad.

We are looking for a proactive Business Analyst to spearhead our initiatives in optimizing business processes and integrating essential systems within operations. In this role, you will identify opportunities for improvement, develop comprehensive integration plans, and ensure their successful execution. About the role

As a Business Analyst you will engage with project stakeholders, whether customers or end users, to gather and specify their business needs. Your ability to understand and compile user requirements will be crucial for our development teams or suppliers when implementing standard solutions. You will act as a solution architect, delivering IT solution architectures that support various business solutions across Landal. Collaborating with key stakeholders, including the Information Architect, Data Officer, and Technical Architect, you will ensure alignment and coherence in our architecture.

Using your exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, you will support the development or implementation process, ensuring that project deliverables meet specifications and exceed expectations.

What you going to do

  • Architecture and design of IT part for the business processes and related IT tools;
  • Creates architecture designs and applying them in High Level Designs;
  • Designs solutions based on agreed constraints;
  • Applies relevant compliancy, privacy and security requirements;
  • Supports realization and implementation of solutions;
  • Source of information for all technical inquiries about the solution;
  • Impact analysis of solution scenarios.

 

Who you are

  • Excellent level of competence in solution design and requirements specification
  • Explicit knowledge and experience in the Financial domain is a definite advantage.
  • Experience with Agile ways of working is a definite advantage.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and achieve results.
  • Capable of operating to tight schedules in a demanding environment with set deadlines and challenging plans.
  • Good communication skilled both with IT- and non-IT colleagues
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, solution architect preferably in a holiday park operation or technology environment.

We leverage a variety of technologies and platforms to enhance our operations and integration capabilities:

  • System integration projects, including API and middleware technologies.
  • Data mapping, workflow diagrams, and documentation tools
  • Park operation (home automation, fun & entertainment, food & beverage), park maintenance(cleaning), point of sale(POS), PMS(Maxxton, Amadeus) and CRM systems like SF.
  • RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, and other integration protocols.
  • Cloud-based integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft or Dell Boomi).

Starting in January 2025, your workplace will be our new office in Amsterdam Amstel. Until then, you will work from our offices in The Hague or Goes. Of course, remote work is possible, but it is desirable that you work in the office at least three days a week.
