Executive Assistant to CIO, CCO, CDO, COO

About the role

Join our team as the Executive Assistant for the Chief Information Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Development Officer, and Chief Operations Officer. In this role, you will provide support and assistance to the Executive Team members, acting as a key link between them, internal and external stakeholders, and our London-based shareholder (KKR). You organize various matters that ultimately contribute to the overall effectiveness and success of the Executive Team.

Your role

As a successful gatekeeper you are the trusted partner for the CIO, CCO, CDO and COO of Roompot/Landal so they can fully rely on managing everyday needs.

  • Efficiently managing complex schedules: Responsible for organizing and maintaining the daily agendas of the Executive Team members, including coordinating appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements. Ensuring smooth logistical support for events and meetings.
  • Facilitating meeting organization: Prepare meeting agendas, documentation, and follow up on action items. Maintain organized action lists and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Developing annual meeting plans: Create a yearly meeting calendar for the Executive Team, coordinate dates with stakeholders, and minimize scheduling conflicts. Communicate with departments to gather necessary materials and reports for meetings, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Communication coordination: Act as the main point of contact between the CIO, CCO, CDO, COO, and internal/external stakeholders. Manage correspondence, emails, and reports on behalf of the Executive Team members. Prioritize incoming communication and respond as needed.
  • Supporting special initiatives: Assist in special projects assigned by the Executive Team, complete tasks as directed by the Board, and ensure successful project outcomes.

From January 2025, your work location will be our new office in Amsterdam Amstel. Until then, you will work from our offices in The Hague or Goes. Of course, working from home is possible, but it is desirable that you work from the office at least 3 days a week.

  • A salary between €4.040,- and €5.775,- gross per month on a full-time basis excl. holiday allowance*

  • Working from home allowance of €2.35 per home working day
  • A travel allowance in accordance with the Roompot/Landal travel allowance scheme based on € 0.23 cents per km. If you decide to travel by public transport, your travel costs will be 100% reimbursed. Roompot/Landal wants to encourage its employees to come to the workplace by public transport
  • Extensive training and education options both online (more than 150 e-learnings) and offline, aimed at developing your craftsmanship and self-development
  • Participation in the Recreation pension fund. The standard retirement date in this scheme is 67 years. The premium for this old-age pension is 21.8% of the pension basis, with Roompot/Landal and you each paying half
  • Possibility of paid additional maternity and parental leave

  • A favorable staff booking scheme

* A full-time employment contract at Roompot/Landal has a 38-hour working week, which is equivalent to a 5-day working week. If you have a part-time employment contract, your salary and vacation days are calculated pro rata.

About you

You have a combination of extensive experience, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude that allows you to think strategically and understand complex organizational dynamics. Additionally, being tech-savvy is essential to effectively integrate and utilize technological solutions in your work. Discretion is crucial due to the sensitive nature of the information being handled.

Furthermore you bring:

  • Academic working and thinking level with 10+ years of work experience;
  • Experience as an Executive Assistant for Executive Team members;
  • Proficiency in communication, administrative processes, and project management;
  • Ability to connect content, processes, and people;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus;
  • Experience in organizing events at Executive Team level;
  • Empathy to help with the transformation of our organization and the organizational dynamics related to this process.
